Basketball Game Preview: North Wilkes Vikings vs. East Surry Cardinals

The North Wilkes Vikings will square off against the East Surry Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with North Wilkes sitting on 17 straight wins and East Surry on four.

North Wilkes is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 74-37 victory over North Surry. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, East Surry won against West Wilkes on Monday with 54 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. East Surry walked away with a 54-45 win over Forbush.

North Wilkes pushed their record up to 24-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.9 points. As for East Surry, their win bumped their record up to 21-5.
