Sadly, Jace Erickson posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Lincoln Southwest over Bellevue West on Thursday. Erickson rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles (0.5 for loss) and defended two passes.
Lincoln Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. Erickson and Lincoln Southwest will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Omaha North at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.
