Volleyball Recap: Sandusky Takes a Loss

Sandusky was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Columbian Tornadoes, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Streaks of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13, 25-17.

Sandusky's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Columbian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sandusky will face off against rival Norwalk at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Columbian is set to square off against their familiar foe Perkins at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
