Everything went their way against the Derby Red Raiders as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Red Raiders: they've now won four in a row.

One reason for the win was Waterbury Career Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16, 25-10.
