Baseball Recap: Cortez Takes a Loss

Cortez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-2 to the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks.

Cortez saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Cabrera, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Cortez's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-1. As for Desert Sunrise, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5-1.

While Cortez had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
