Softball Game Preview: Sidney Team vs. Dryden Lions

The Sidney Team will take on the Dryden Lions at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bainbridge-Guilford hit Sidney with a seven-run third inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Team came up short against the Bobcats, falling 19-4. The match marked the Team's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sidney saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kate Young, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Meanwhile, Dryden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-3 to Lansing.

Sidney has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Dryden, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
