Softball Recap: Rancho Dominguez's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

It's playoff time, and Rancho Dominguez had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Huntington Park Spartans by a score of 15-10 on Wednesday. This was payback for the Lobos, who suffered an 11-9 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory was the third in a row for Rancho Dominguez, bringing their record up to 9-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Huntington Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.

Looking ahead, Rancho Dominguez will face off against North Hollywood at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Lobos surely won't give up without a fight. Huntington Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
