Minto scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to the Walter Northway Warriors 76-72. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (56), the Lakers still had to take the loss.

Nicholas Roberts and Jonathon David Jr. certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Roberts posted 27 points, while David Jr. put up 24 points. David Jr. is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Asher Titus was another key player, putting up seven points.

Minto moved to 3-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Walter Northway, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Minto didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-55 win against Fort Yukon on the 4th. As for Walter Northway, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 78-65 defeat against Effie Kokrine Charter on the 4th.
