Sardis had to settle for second on Saturday, but Brandon Hammonds sure wasn't going down easily. Hammonds tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The performance also marked the fewest earned runs (zero) he has had since back in March of 2024. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February of 2024.
