Basketball Game Preview: Swett Warriors vs. Redwood Christian Eagles

The Swett Warriors will head out to challenge the Redwood Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Swett took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Everything went their way against Hercules as Swett made off with a 75-50 victory.

Meanwhile, Redwood Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 69-44 margin over the Marlins. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.

Redwood Christian pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.2 points. As for Swett, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Things could have been worse for Swett, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took an 87-71 loss to Redwood Christian when the teams last played last Saturday. Can Swett avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
