Softball Recap: Samson Takes a Loss

Samson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 19-2 to Red Level. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, Samson couldn't push the score so high this time.

Ally Zorn made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Molly Glisson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Samson's record now sits at 4-11. As for Red Level, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Samson will square off against Houston County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Red Level, they will face off against Elba at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
