Soccer Game Preview: Lake Worth Christian vs. Glades Day

The Lake Worth Christian Defenders will face off against the Glades Day Gators at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Worth Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Glades Day will be coming in after a loss.

Glades Day better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Lake Worth Christian really get things going. Lake Worth Christian's defense stepped up to hand Atlantic Christian a 3-0 shutout on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Defenders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

They hit Atlantic Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lillian Malham, Stella Martinez-Walker, and Allison Resnick.

Meanwhile, Glades Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Berean Christian, falling 5-0.

Glades Day's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Lake Worth Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4.
