Volleyball Recap: Valders' Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Valders lost against Manitowoc Lutheran back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Lancers. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Vikings haven't been shut out since back in September.

While Valders was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Manitowoc Lutheran's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14, 25-20.

Valders' defeat ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 21-11. As for Manitowoc Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season.

Valders will be playing in front of their home fans against Kaukauna at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Manitowoc Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
