Football Recap: Sacred Heart Academy Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Olivet, Sacred Heart Academy was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Bishop Foley Ventures by a score of 22-12. Given the Irish's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Ventures are ranked 468th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Sacred Heart Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Bishop Foley, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sacred Heart Academy will face off against Vestaburg at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bishop Foley, they will venture away from home to challenge University Liggett at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
