Basketball Recap: Littleton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Tyngsborough last Tuesday, Littleton came back down to earth. The Littleton Tigers fell just short of the Hudson Hawks by a score of 54-52 on Friday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Littleton's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Hudson, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Littleton will face off against Maynard at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hudson, they will challenge Northbridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northbridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Hudson likes a good challenge.
