Northwest Halifax scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Community Christian Cyclones by a score of 76-73. With the loss, Northwest Halifax broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5. As for Community Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3.
Northwest Halifax wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-45 win against Vance County on the 30th. As for Community Christian, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Faith Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th.
