A Season-Best Effort from Nathan Axmann Leads Waverly over Norris
On Friday, Waverly got the W thanks in part to Nathan Axmann playing the best football he has all season. Axmann rushed for 202 yards and three touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory (which was Waverly's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Axmann and Waverly will look to defend their home field on Friday against Pius X at 7:00 p.m.

Andreasen Made His Presence Known in Pius X's 40-0 Win
Joseph Andreasen was a major factor in Pius X's win over Beatrice on Friday. Nobody could stop Andreasen as he rushed for 183 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.
Unfortunately for Beatrice, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Andreasen. When Andreasen last faced the Orangemen back in October of 2023, he rushed for 105 yards and three touchdowns.
