Basketball Recap: Hesperia Comes Up Short

Hesperia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 35-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mason County Eastern Cardinals. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Hesperia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Mason County Eastern, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hesperia will face off against Ravenna at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mason County Eastern, they will take on Pentwater at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
