Gilmour Academy had already won ten in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it 11 on Friday. They came out on top against the St. Ursula Academy Arrows by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lancers also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Gilmour Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept St. Ursula Academy between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18.

Despite the loss, St. Ursula Academy still got an impressive performance from Mia Hasty, who had 16 digs and two aces.

Gilmour Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for St. Ursula Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
