Soccer Recap: Dawson School Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten goals the game before, Dawson School was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They fell just short of the SkyView Academy Hawks by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Dawson School haven't been shut out since back in September.

Dawson School's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for SkyView Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Dawson School has already played their next contest, a 12-3 win against Denver Academy on the 13th. As for SkyView Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Estes Park at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st. SkyView Academy will be up against Estes Park's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.22 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
