Volleyball Recap: Jonesboro Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Jonesboro's tournament run continued when they took on East Paulding on Saturday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1. While the Cardinals didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Raiders 25-21 in the first set.

Jonesboro started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-21, 15-11.

Jonesboro's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2. As for East Paulding, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Jonesboro will face off against Whitewater at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Paulding, they will challenge Bremen at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
