A feisty cat fight will be fought as Donaldsonville Tigers take on Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Donaldsonville took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over White Castle.

The team relied heavily on Trae Spurlock, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Makhi Landry, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Frederick A. Douglass put another one in the bag last Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Morris Jeff 20-5. Fans of the Bobcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
