Baseball Recap: Chambersburg Takes a Loss

Chambersburg lost against Mifflin County on April 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 3-2. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

E Brown was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Chambersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Mifflin County, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chambersburg will take on Altoona at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mountain Lions have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Mifflin County, they will square off against Bald Eagle Area at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
