On Wednesday LaBrae's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Garfield G-Men, sneaking past 8-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-4 on Monday.

Austin Rowe spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Easton Armstrong was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Landon Brunstetter, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

LaBrae's record now sits at 4-0. As for Garfield, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

LaBrae wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-2 win against McKinley on the 11th. As for Garfield, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Cardinal on the 11th.
