Volleyball Recap: Rochelle Takes a Loss

Rochelle lost against Morris back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hubs fell 2-0 to Morris. The Hubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Rochelle was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22.

Morris was led to victory by Brooke Thorson and Cami Pfeifer. Thorson had 11 assists and four digs, while Pfeifer had four digs. That's the most digs Thorson has posted since back in September.

Rochelle's defeat dropped their record down to 14-18. As for Morris, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

Rochelle will face off against LaSalle-Peru at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morris, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Serena on the 18th.
