Football Recap: Mishawaka Beats Plymouth for Their Sixth Straight Win

Mishawaka had won five straight games and Landon Snyder did his part to make it six on Friday. The Cavemen claimed a resounding 28-0 victory over the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies for which the team can thank Snyder, who rushed for 188 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

Mishawaka didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Walker Hawn.

Mishawaka's record is now 7-1. As for Plymouth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Coming up, Mishawaka will host Wawasee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cavemen will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.13 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Plymouth, they will take on Concord at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pilgrims/Rockies will need to watch out since the Minutemen have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.
