Baseball Recap: Lake Region Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

Lake Region had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with an 8-4 win over the Wells Warriors on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Jaiden Meehan, who went 2-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Matt Plummer, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Lake Region's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games.
