Volleyball Recap: Brazoswood Takes a Loss

Brazoswood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Dickinson Gators, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Brazoswood's offense was headlined by Lyla Krikley and Grace Atkins, who picked up four kills apiece. They were helped by Rylee Skinner and Audrey Mulholland, who contributed six assists each.

Brazoswood's loss dropped their record down to 8-27. As for Dickinson, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 22-15.

Brazoswood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Deer Park on the 21st. As for Dickinson, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Clear Springs on the 21st.
