Volleyball Recap: Summit's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Summit entered their tilt with Rim of the World on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Fighting Scots with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11, 25-16.

Erik St. George was the offensive standout of the game as he had 18 digs. Those 18 digs gave him a new career-high.

Summit's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-7. As for Rim of the World, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Summit wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Rialto on the 14th. As for Rim of the World, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Fontana on the 16th.
