Benjamin extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Keegan Hayes. The Mustangs came out on top against the Westbrook Wildcats by a score of 50-42 on Friday with plenty of help from Hayes, who went 8-for-20 on his way to 22 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The contest was his 15th in a row with at least 16 points.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trent Henderson, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards. Henderson has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Caleb Browne, who posted 11 points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals.

Benjamin's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Westbrook, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Benjamin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 65-34 victory against Colorado on the 6th. As for Westbrook, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-20 win against Blackwell on the 6th.
