Katie Dzialo was a major factor in St. Joseph's victory over Staples on Thursday. Dzialo produced her best game of the campaign: she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 15 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 15 consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Dzialo and St. Joseph are taking a road trip to challenge New Canaan at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
