Basketball Recap: Lowell Takes a Loss

Lowell lost against Coopersville last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lowell Red Arrows came up short against the Coopersville Broncos, falling 65-41. While losing is never fun, the Red Arrows can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 462nd, while the Broncos are ranked 126th).

Lowell has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Coopersville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-8.

Coming up, Lowell will head out to face off against Kenowa Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lowell is facing Kenowa Hills at the right time seeing as Kenowa Hills is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Coopersville, they will be playing at home against Allendale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Allendale will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Coopersville surely won't give up without a fight.
