Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Dennis Dewhurst stepped things up a notch to give Biggs the 'W'. Dewhurst wasn't messing around, striking out 11 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was his third straight with five or more strikeouts.

Dewhurst's strong effort led Biggs over Maxwell and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolverines have been dominating on the road and they will enter the matchup having won ten straight away games dating back to last season.
