Basketball Recap: North Plainfield Comes Up Short

North Plainfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colts Neck Cougars.

North Plainfield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Colts Neck, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

North Plainfield will venture away from home to face off against South Brunswick at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Colts Neck, they will host Sparta at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Colts Neck knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Sparta likes a good challenge.
