Volleyball Recap: Forestview Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Huss on Thursday, Forestview came back down to earth. The Jaguars lost 3-0 to the East Gaston Warriors on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

While Forestview was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-22, 25-10.

Madison Potter paced Forestview's offense, picking up ten kills. Potter got some help from Regan Bowie and her eight assists. Addison Duncan controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Leading East Gaston to victory were Hannah Massey and Cooper Payne. Massey had 15 assists and two aces, while Payne had 15 digs. Payne is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Forestview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for East Gaston, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Forestview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Stuart W. Cramer on the 10th. As for East Gaston, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against West Lincoln on the 9th.
