Basketball Recap: Ligonier Valley Gets the Win

After losing to Waynesburg Central the last time they met, Ligonier Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Ligonier Valley Rams walked away with a 47-39 win over the Waynesburg Central Raiders on Monday.

The victory got Ligonier Valley back to even at 8-8. As for Waynesburg Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ligonier Valley will venture away from home to take on Charleroi at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Waynesburg Central, they are taking a road trip to face off against Mt. Carmel Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
