Sequatchie County had won nine straight  games  and  Curtlyn Lee did her part to make it ten on Tuesday. The Sequatchie County Indians walked away with  a   44-37  win over the Tyner Academy Rams  thanks in part to  Lee, who  dropped  a double-double on 23  points and 14  rebounds. With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 2  steals per game.
 The team also got some help courtesy of  Grace Kelly, who  posted two points along with seven  boards and five  assists. That's the most  rebounds  she has posted since back in December of 2024.
Sequatchie County pushed their record up to 16-8 with the  victory, which was their eighth straight  at home. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to  three-point shooting accuracy: their  three-point shooting accuracy was 33.1% in those games and 23.9% outside of them. As for Tyner Academy,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-10.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sequatchie County will host Marion County  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Tyner Academy has  already played their next  contest (against Bledsoe County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
