It was a good run, but Kalamazoo Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Vicksburg Bulldogs, falling 3-0. If Kalamazoo Christian were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to Vicksburg when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kalamazoo Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-3-1. As for Vicksburg, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5-2.

Kalamazoo Christian and Vicksburg should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Comets will challenge Schoolcraft at 5:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (47 vs. 155). Meanwhile, Vicksburg (ranked 79th) will meet Edwardsburg (ranked 289th) at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
