It was a good run, but Old Colony RVT unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Upper Cape Cod RVT Rams by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Old Colony RVT saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Correia, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Old Colony RVT's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-5. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Old Colony RVT will take on rival Bristol County Agricultural at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Upper Cape Cod RVT is set to square off against their familiar foe Norfolk County Agricultural at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
