Basketball Game Preview: New Miami Vikings vs. Lockland Panthers

The New Miami Vikings will challenge the Lockland Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. New Miami has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 4.

New Miami is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Cincinnati Christian on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. New Miami had to suffer through a 77-44 loss at the hands of Cincinnati Christian. The Vikings were down 59-39 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Lockland hadn't done well against Cincinnati Christian recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Lockland snuck past Cincinnati Christian with a 55-51 victory.

New Miami's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Lockland, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-15.

New Miami came up short against Lockland in their previous matchup back in January, falling 51-40. Can New Miami avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
