Baseball Recap: West Hancock Comes Up Short

West Hancock blew North Union out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday North Union got their revenge. The Eagles fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 4-2. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

West Hancock's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for North Union, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Hancock will square off against Belmond-Klemme at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Broncos have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.89 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for North Union, they will welcome Eagle Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
