Basketball Recap: Kern Valley Starts off Right with Win over Lone Pine + How To Watch

Kern Valley gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 61-50 win over the Lone Pine Golden Eagles.

Kern Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeff Clark out in front who posted ten points. EJ Anderson was another key player, putting up ten points.

Several Golden Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tommy Fogerty, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 17 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Anthony Guerra, who earned nine points.

Kern Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 94-24 loss against North on the 19th. As for Lone Pine, they will take on Desert at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
