Football Recap: West Catholic Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against York Suburban last Friday, West Catholic came back down to earth. The Burrs fell just short of the Dover Senators by a score of 14-12 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Burrs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 267th in Pennsylvania, while the Senators are ranked eighth in Delaware).

West Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

West Catholic will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Conwell-Egan Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on September 13. As for Dover, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Appoquinimink at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
