Volleyball Recap: Golden Belt Home Educators Takes a Loss

Golden Belt Home Educators kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newton (Home School) Mustangs.

Newton (Home School) found their leader in sophomore Chloe Hoelscher, who had 14 digs. Hoelscher is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Katherine Oller also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Newton (Home School) and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Golden Belt Home Educators does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newton (Home School), they have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Ark City Christian Academy on the 15th.
