Volleyball Recap: Glendale Takes a Loss

Glendale lost against Pasadena on September 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Nitros lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. Nitros fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Bulldogs since Thursday.

Glendale was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-9, 25-17.

Glendale's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Pasadena, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Glendale will challenge rival Crescenta Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pasadena is set to take on their familiar foe Burbank at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
