Soccer Game Preview: Arroyo vs. Piedmont

Arroyo is 1-8 against Piedmont since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Dons will look to defend their home pitch against the Highlanders at 3:15 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Arroyo fell victim to Amador Valley and their airtight defense on Monday. They fell just short of Amador Valley by a score of 1-0. The loss put an end to Arroyo's undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Piedmont also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 5-0 to Newark Memorial on Friday.

Piedmont's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Arroyo, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-1.
