Baseball Game Preview: Eau Gallie Commodores vs. Regis Rams

The Eau Gallie Commodores will face off against the Regis Rams at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Eau Gallie is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Eau Gallie's tournament run continued when they took on Capital City on Tuesday. The Commodores walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Cavaliers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Commodores.

Vincent Culver spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Eau Gallie is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 6-8 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Brock Lustic was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Vincent Breckenridge, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Regis came up short against Bloomington on Monday and fell 7-2. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Regis now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Eau Gallie, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
