Basketball Recap: Sparks Drops Highest Score of Season Against Wooster

Sparks's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Wooster Colts as they made off with a 50-25 win. The Railroaders' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Shea Patterson was a one-woman wrecking crew as she posted 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in steals (five). Another player making a difference was Julia Monteiro, who earned 16 points.

The victory got Sparks back to even at 2-2. As for Wooster, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Sparks wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 40-7 win against Debbie Smith CTE Academy on the 6th. As for Wooster, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-2 defeat against Lowry on the 8th.
