Baseball Recap: Pleasant Hill Comes Up Short

Pleasant Hill fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Sisters on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Outlaws by a score of 7-6. The Billies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Outlaws earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Will Sheva made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Judah Kelso, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Pleasant Hill's loss dropped their record down to 12-12-1. As for Sisters, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasant Hill will challenge North Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Billies will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least ten runs in their last five matchups. As for Sisters, they will square off against Lakeview at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
