Tri-Valley hasn't had much luck against Chester recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Tri-Valley Mustangs will be playing at home against the Chester Flyers at 7:00 p.m.
Last Saturday, Tri-Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Wagner and fell 3-2.
Tri-Valley couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Wagner a tough time in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-17, 18-25, 23-25, 30-28, 16-14.
Meanwhile, Chester had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the C-E Hawks.
Chester was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11, 25-18.
Chester can attribute much of their success to Lexi Bauman, who had 11 digs.
Tri-Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Chester, they pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.
